Let me introduce to you: a street art shop and gallery called Wild Wood in Kassel, Germany. I will always remember how we met these guys at a small diy festival in Dresden. Fabian and Steve came all the way from Kassel to be part of it. We came from Prague and really liked them and what they sold. They liked our notebooks, so a friendship was born. For years now, they are selling our products and even invited us to come to their city to exhibit and party with them. Fabian answered some questions for us, so you can get to know him better: Tell us something about yourself! Hi, i´m Fabian a thirty four year old freelance graphic designer...
Follow us to Berlin - Kreuzberg. That is where one of our favourite shops is located: MODERN GRAPHICS! We work with them for such a long time and we love that overwhelming craziness of weird books and comics that are filling up every inch of the space. Don't try to talk to me when I am in there. I won't be able to take my eyes off all the colours and titles and pay attention. Whenever we make it to Berlin, the trip to Kreuzberg is basically mandatory. This time we are looking at a city in Iowa, USA. Cedar Rapids is a big city with a special museum: the National Czech & Slavak Museum & Librabry. It´s a museum that celebrates life. Czech life. Slovak life. American life. They are a museum that encourages self-discovery, a museum that asks what it means to be free. Through extraordinary exhibitions and experiences, they tell stories of freedom and identity, family and community, human rights and dignity. Their stories connect yesterday with today and tomorrow. The Museum Store supports the museum‘s mission by offering unique and custom items imported from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as works by local artisans, authors, and craftspeople. Items include traditional and contemporary glass, folk art, mouth-blown glass...
There is a nice town in the South-West of Germany called Landau. That´s where Janna has her store “Weltherz” (heart of the world) where she offers fair fashion for men, women and kids, some accessories, jewellery and cosmetics. For a long time she was dreaming of owning a shop with sustainable and fair products. So in September 2016 she decided it was time to start living that dream. That´s when she contacted us to resell Deafmessanger Notebooks and became part of our universe. Her colleague Sophie joined the team last year, after they met in the shop and just loved each other. Sophie is a dressmaker and is working in the shop, where she also designs new dresses for their...
