The wood for Chloe comes from Dresden, though I don’t know the story behind the tree — when or why it was cut down, or when it fell. This bowl is a live-edge piece, showcasing the natural beauty of the wood’s form.
One of its most striking features is the contrast between the sapwood and heartwood. The sapwood forms a thick, darker collar around the bowl, creating a vivid distinction against the warmer tones of the heartwood. This interplay of colors and textures gives Chloe a unique character and depth, highlighting the natural artistry of the material.

Dřevo pro tuto mísu pochází z Drážďan, ale popravdě neznám příběh stromu — kdy nebo proč byl pokácen, případně kdy spadl. Tato mísa má "živý" okraj, který zdůrazňuje přirozenou krásu dřeva.
Nejzajímavějším prvkem je kontrast mezi lýkem a jádrem dřeva. Lýko tvoří kolem misky silný, tmavší límec, který vytváří výrazný rozdíl oproti teplejším tónům jádra. Toto prolínání barev a struktur dává misce Chloe jedinečný charakter a hloubku a podtrhuje přirozenou krásu materiálu.
