Nerad sem dávám fotky sebe samotného, ale tyhle mi přijdou fakt hezké a navíc chci upozornit na prací Ondřeje Janů. Na focení si sebou přivezl asi 100 kg věcí (stolek, stojan, lampy, fotak, stativ, takovou parádní přenosnou temnou komoru a mnoho dalšího). Díval jsem se, jak zakládá tiskovou metalickou desticku do stříbřité lázně - 3 minuty čeká - pak ji zasune do kazety a fotí. No a ten proces vyvolávání je naprosto fantastícký - chemikálie, ampule, pevná ruka, smrad....Jsem rád, že jsem pro něj mohl pózovat.

Half year ago I wrote a post about Rebekka Karijord. I wrote that we are planning to make custom notebooks for her new album "We become ourselves" and this week we have finished them. Im so happy we could do this for her since I respect her so much for the music she produces. Hope we will have a chance to make some other stuff for her in the future. In a week Im going to Stockholm and I cant wait to meet her in person for the first time. Its always good to meet people you work with. It gives our work higher value - personal value....

They finally arrived. When we visited India last time we went to my favorite place in the north - McLeod Ganj. Last time I was there i had 100 notebooks and boxes made by local paper manufacture that employs Tibetian people. They recycle paper in Dharamsala region and they make great new paper out of it. This time we asked them to make 100 sketchbooks and 100 little notebooks. They arrived yesterday so I sprayed few of them and just love them. 

They gonna be available on our webshop within one month.

V posledních dvou týdnech jsme pracovali na 100 denících  pro seriál HBO "Terapie". Ta práce na nich mě fakt bavila i přesto, že to byl komerční projekt. Navíc je ten seriál fakt dobrý takže nemáme problém se pod ty deníky podepsat. Ty deníky posloužily jako dárek přo lidi, kteří na tom seriálu pracovali (takže produkce, kamera, herci...bla, bla, bla) a reakce na ně prý byla úžasná, což nás moc potěšilo. Takže kdo Terapii doposud nevidel tak střemhlav do ní. Nikdy nevíte, kdy budete terapii sami potřebovat.

We made 100 notebooks for the HBO series In Treatment – more accurately for the Czech version called ‘Terapie.’ We liked working on it even though it was a commercial project. The notebooks were given to the actors and other people working on the series. In Treatment is worth watching. It’s actually pretty great. 
I’m happy we had this opportunity and the feedback on our work was great. HBO was happy, people from the show were happy and WE were happy. What else can we ask for? Now...maybe only a good cup of coffee and then bath....

This is the suitcase I made for Lady Miyako. She is our new distributor for Japan and this suitcase and many other things I made for this purpose will decorate show-room for Deafmessanger Notebooks in Tokyo and Osaka. Im really happy that we can now reach Japanesse market and im especially thankful to L.Miyako for giving us a chance to sell in Japan.

I found your amazing notebooks at the *BOOK ART BOOK SHOP *in London and bought 2 of them. One as a present and the one in the picture for me! Otis, our dog, is inlove too :-) So both of your art works are in Israel. One in Jerusalem and one in Tel Aviv.

Fluff Fest 2012. You know like Xmass shows you that there is another year that has passed. Or birthday? For me its Fluff Fest. Last 13 years its been like that. Each year i go like: "OMG its been a year already?" and than I meet all these wonderful people there. Party hard on the after show disco and sell my notebooks there. Sometimes there are the same people buying from me as year ago or two years ago or...some of them have been bying from me every years since I first brought my table there 5 years ago! Thats amazing. Its the only place where I love to sell them. Normally i try to avoid selling at the markets. I dont like that, coz im not good salesman. I cant talk people into buying my work. Coz anytime im saying something about my work I have a feeling that im showing off. But Fluff Fest is the only place where I feel comfortable doing that. And I feel there comfortable for other reasons too...icecream...food...swiming pool...party....and FRIENDS. Yes the FRIENDS make it soooo special. So sad that most of them i wont see until next year/after next Fluff Fest. But thats how it has been for years so Im getting used to it....

My favorite picture of levitating Luise. It was great show of Tangled Lines. One of the last ones to say, coz Tangled Lines called it quits and this was one of the last show of their final tour. R.I.P.

For some people it is all about eating. There is even VegeBurger competition. Who eats more of them and apparently Santina compete as well as her boyfriend Gijs. Im not involved, coz I dont like these burgers too much. But I love vegan icecream made by my friend Tomas. That icecream rules and I think my girlfriend Luise would even go to the festival if the Icecream wouldnt be there.

He likes to take pictures of food but he doesnt like when people take picture of him eating...weird....

Thats after the Fest. Vegetarian/Vegan restaurant Maitrea. Gijs loves coffee but more than coffe he loves sugar. So its shitloads of sugar with little big of coffee in the cup.
